Prize contests for platforms

Your marketplace is empty. Make being first worth it.

Run a prize contest for the first sellers on your platform. They compete on real results. You get the supply side moving.

Click the rocket, the egg, the planets or the sky.

Nobody wants to be the first seller on an empty market.

No buyers without sellers. No sellers without buyers. Every new platform starts by pushing this boulder.

Click the scene to hand the seller a prize.

How it works

Three steps. No guesswork about prize money.

  1. Put up a prize. Small, medium or large. Fixed sizes, so sellers can compare contests at a glance.
  2. Invite the sellers you want. They join for free and report their results from your platform: orders, revenue, reviews.
  3. Confirm the winners. Check the leaders against their profiles. Milestones, lottery and grand prize are paid out by Joridiro.

Pricing

One price per contest. Most of it is prize money.

Net prices. VAT is added at checkout where it applies. If not a single participant scores a point, you get your money back.

Questions

Why can't I pick my own prize amount?

Nobody knows whether €2,720 or €6,470 is the right prize. Three sizes, each an order of magnitude apart, are easier to choose and easier for sellers to compare. You tune the difficulty with your scoring methods and rules instead.

Who checks the scores?

Participants report their own totals. Before any prize is paid, you check the winner against their profile on your platform. If you reject one, the prize moves to the next in line. If you don't answer within seven days, the winner counts as confirmed.

When does a contest start and end?

It starts the moment the payment is confirmed. Deadline contests run 7, 25 or 45 days. Score contests end when the first participant reaches 5, 25 or 100 points.

What is the lottery for?

Every day a participant updates their score earns them a ticket. That keeps everyone reporting, not just the leaders, so you can see how the contest is going.

How do I find participants?

You know best who should sell on your platform. Joridiro gives you the argument that convinces them to try it. Share the contest page with them directly, by mail, call or social media.
